Take full control over light and composition with square filter systems in 75mm, 100mm, and 150mm standards. These systems allow you to use rectangular filters, which offer more creative freedom than circular filters. Each system consists of a filter holder and an adapter ring sized to fit your lens.
How does a square filter system work and why should you choose it?
Traditional circular filters can be limiting – especially when working with graduated ND filters, where the graduation line needs to be precisely aligned with the horizon, not the center of the frame. Square systems eliminate this problem, giving you complete compositional freedom.
For ultra-wide-angle lenses with a bulbous front element (lacking a front thread), external holder systems are also the only way to use a polarizing filter, as its adjustment requires free rotation in front of the lens.

System construction – what does the kit consist of?
Building your system relies on two key components that you can find in this category:
- Filter Holder – the main component of the system. It features slots (guides) into which you slide square or rectangular filters. It allows you to use multiple filters simultaneously and smoothly rotate them at any angle.
- Adapter Ring – the connecting element that screws into the lens thread (or mounts directly onto the lens body for threadless lenses). The holder snaps directly onto it. This means you can use a single holder across multiple different lenses – you just need to choose the right ring diameter.
